The pair of KL Rahul and Chris Gayle fell heavily on the team of hitman Rohit Sharma and together they took the field by storm. Punjab bowlers bowled out Mumbai for 131 runs. Punjab had set a target of 132 for victory.
Punjab's Mohammad Shami and Ravi Bishnoi took 2-2 wickets each. KL Rahul scored 60 and Mayank Agarwal 25 runs. Chris Gayle, who came next, played an explosive game. He scored 43 off 35 balls to lead the team to victory.
Mayank Agarwal was caught out and returned with just 25 runs. In the Orange Cap, there is a clash between KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan. Currently, Shikhar Dhawan of Delhi is in the first position and KL Rahul of Punjab is in the second position.
