The University of Delhi Announces the Mode of Final Semester Examinations

University of Delhi: As per an official notice, the varsity has confirmed that the final semester examinations for all Under Graduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) programs as well as the School of Open Learning (SOL) and Non-Collegiate Women Education Board (NCWEB) will be conducted from May 15. The examinations will be conducted in three sessions in a day including Sundays within a duration of three hours in Open Book Examinations (OBE) mode taking cognizance of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The notice also states that the detailed guidelines for OBE  and the final date sheet for all Undergraduate courses shall be uploaded on the official site by the end of this month. Whereas all the students of Postgraduate and Certificate courses will be notified by their respective faculties and departments about their final date sheets.  Along with the same, the University has also urged students to be wary of messages being circulated on social media and rely only on the information uploaded on the official website (www.du.ac.in) .

The students of Terminal Semester and Final Year have been given a relief in the view of the pandemic as per the revised guidelines of UGC. For the students who were unable to appear in the OBE Phase I & II conducted in August and September 2020, the notice states they can appear for their examinations now. Additionally, the examination schedule of UG and PG IV semester students will be decided after considering the prevailing condition of Covid-19. The same follows for the essential repeaters, improvement and ex-students of the II Semester.

The examination form is now open to be filled by the students of the IV/VI/VIII semester. As of now, the portal will close at 5 p.m.on the 30th of April.
