India’s corporate world has committed or donated more than Rs 2700 crore in direct and indirect aid to help fight the novel corona virus (Covid-19).

Wipro Enterprises Ltd and Azim Premji Foundation, have together commited Rs. 1,125 crore towards tackling the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak.
Wipro Ltd's Commitment is Rs 100 cr , wipro Enterprises Ltd is Rs 25 cr and that of the Azim Premji Foundation is Rs. 1000cr.
These Sums are in addition to the annual Csr activities of Wipro and the usual philanthropic spends of the Azim Premji Foundation.
Reliance Industries contributes Rs 500cr towards PM-CARES fund. The company also said in a statement that it is contributing Rs 5 crore each towards the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat in order to lend them support amid the ongoing outbreak.
